Lust After / New Arrival: Winter Drop!

In angel jackson, ASOS, boots, leather, lust after, new arrival, studded, topshop, urban outfitters, worker boots on August 27, 2010 at 9:43 pm
OK so I totally skipped day 7 oh well!
On Sunday I tidied my entire room, which is practically unheard of
and the boyf put all my pictures up on my wall for me and I totally love it!
Heres a quick looksie at what I’ve been buying,
and what I’ve been trying not to buy this week!
Bought:
Studded Boots
£50 AllSaints
Reduced fron £220!!
I luff them…. Lots
In the end I ordered this Aztec Cape / Blanket from Topshop!
It came online and a day after it sold out, it was only after it sold out I realised how much I wanted it
so when it came back into stock I ordered it straight away!
£36
I also discovered it had been put on line in this colour too
and I couldn’t decide..
So I ordered both colours and may be sending one back once they arrive
£36 Topshop
And I thought while I was there I might as well spend enough to get free delivery right??
So I added this t-shirt
as it fulfils my loves of grey marl, oversized tees, and galaxy prints!
£22 Topshop
I also ordered these boots
Oh I love a bit of embellishment on an ankle boot!
£38 Topshop
which is pretty good for a leather boot,
I hope they fit me!
Aztec Snood
just yummy right??
Loving aztec, intarsia, navajo patterned knits or whatever you want to call it
and I thought this would be a nice way of adding a splash
to an otherwise plain coat or outfit!
£20 ASOS
(ASOS have 15% off own branded items atm with code AWSTYLE15)
I am trying not to buy:
Well you might notice that these are similar to the other Topshop boots I’ve ordered
I actually saw these first,
but plumped for the spangley ones in the end as always!
£35 Topshop
This item is such a bargain
I’m really trying to resist, but wow
I want it… a lot!
Butterfly Bag by my favourite bag designers Angel Jackson
£149.99 reduced from £475 !!!!!!
at Urban Outfitters
I want these quite a bit
we sell them at my work so I can get a discount on them
and also I could wear them to work for the whole winter
how comfy and lovely
might have to get them!
£135 Fitflop Mukluk in Amethyst
I’m totally excited about winter clothes
a lot
all I need now is a faux fur hat with ears
and I’m not joking, I’m on the look out!

and sometimes comment on my blog
I really appreciate every single person that enjoys my blog!
I’ve lost 2 or 3 followers recently which in a way has puzzled me

Getting rid of 25 pairs of shoes :(

In boots, shoes, shopping on February 28, 2010 at 2:40 pm
So, I’ve a little shoe problem,
as in I have too many
They seem to multiply, I find them everywhere,
and I have no room to put them all
So instead of not buying anymore shoes,
I’m going to get rid of some!
good idea eh!
I managed to clear out 25 pairs,
and if you think that was me being ruthless,
it wasn’t, there were plenty more that should have gone but I kept!
I still have about 100 pairs left so I’m o.k!
Some of them, I bought to decorate,
like the two pairs of high tops in this picture,
I rhinestoned the toes, but actually they don’t fit me!
some of them I bought off eBay and I have NEVER even worn
because they don’t fit
like the tan boots in this pic,
and what was I even thinking with the camo boots
Some just arn’t my style anymore,
Like the blue and red high heels,
and the navy blue brogue heels at the front
who was I kidding, I don’t do heels!
Some were just cheap and I have better versions of now,
like the leopard pumps in this pic
and I wrote all over those light blue converse at college!
bad idea, now they look scruffy
Some I have worn to death
the brown toggle boots I have worn the tread off,
they were so comfy I wore them all the time about 4 years ago
and the black buckle strap shoes at the front,
they are probably my oldest pair, I wore them to high school
they have officially had it!
The other black mary janes with a strap (at the back to the left)
I wore to work loads last year,
but they just didn’t last very well
they’ve gone all big 😦
about 5 pairs are going straight in the bin
as they are sooo worn out
about 10 are going to the charity shop
nothing wrong with them
and about 10 are going on eBay to be sold
as they are a bit nicer and good names!
Phew
so now I can go out and buy 25 more pairs right?

What Milly Wore: Dancer chic, and Which boots?

In all saints, american apparel, angel jackson, ASOS, boots, etsy, leather, lumberjack shirt, scarf, topshop, what milly wore, worker boots on February 8, 2010 at 10:24 pm

Why hello!

Fancy seeing you here!
Well this last week just gone was my first week of a new semester at uni,
I’ve actually really enjoyed it!
I’ve been very bad at taking pictures of my outfits
Sowwy 😦
But above is an outfit I wore last week
Consisting of:
Navy Waxed Coat: ASOS Sale £35 in the style of Alexa Chung
Grey Jersey Headband: New Look £1
Black Patent Quilted Bag: Angel Jackson Luxor Tote
Black Suede Pixie Boots: £35 River Island
Black Bootstraps with Gold Chains: 2bandits boot riders (so versatile!)

Underneath:
 Grey Unitard: American Apparel
(So comfy, but it’s a pain to get undressed every time nature calls!)
Navy Cardigan: Topshop
Ripped Denim Mini: New Look £6
Navy Scarf: Necklush (amazing concept, cross between a necklace and scarf!)
Really liked this outfit, it made me feel like a dancer!

Also here is an outfit I kind of wore today
Kind of because I bought the shirt today and was trying it on just now,
Chequered Shirt: SuperDry @ Bank £30 sale
Clown vest top: Allsaints
Dark Skinny Jeans: Crafted @ Republic

Now you may have noticed, I’m wearing boots that don’t match!
I’ve bought these two pairs,
Intending to keep one and take one back
Both £74.99 from River Island
But I can’t choose!
I don’t have the money to keep both so I have to decide,
I would love your opinions
My current feelings are
I was super super excited about the studded one; I had to track it down online (left)
But its pull on no zip, which annoys me a little
Also they are a bit shorter and I’m not sure if they cut my leg at an unflattering place
But off, they are my fave
The lace-up ones I prefer on I think (right)
But I have other pairs of lace up boots, although not really similar
But I’ve seen quite a few people wearing them, and not seen anyone in the studded ones
And I was just more excited about the studded ones
(click pics to view bigger, also please excuse carpet fluff!)

They both fit, and are both comfy,
HELP ME
🙂

Fashion Fix: I have an UGgly admission to make!

In boots, fashion fix, leather, ugg on January 20, 2010 at 10:25 pm
Hi, my name is Milly, and I’m an Ugg addict!
I know loads of people hate them,
but I just can’t get enough.

Firstly my circulation is PANTS
I have Raynaud’s , and also get major chilblains
my poor feet are always white red or purple, never healthy pink!
mmm lovely!
I find it super hard to keep them warm but most of the time uggs work!

But I have to admit, even if I didn’t have cold feet all the time
I would probably still wear them.
they are sooo comfy, and they go with anything
I also happen to think they look quite stylish!

These are the first pair I ever bought
I have worn them to death,
they have no grip left and are almost falling apart
I really should bin them, but I just cant!
This is the second pair,
and I have hardly worn them
these are the only long pair I own
I just find the short ones so much easier to wear with outfits!
Here’s my 3rd pair
these are gold, and have more of a leather finish rather than suede
I got these from ASOS a couple of years ago in the sale
And my 4th
these are my absolute fave!
I know they are really tacky, but i LOVE them!
Leopard print on real uggs, GENIUS
5th Pair
these I only bought a couple of weeks ago
I love the colour
Haven’t had chance to wear them much because of the snow
Ugg Wellies!
How amazing are these!
I got them for £30 reduced from £190 from Shudoo!
I have worn them loads with the snow, they are even sheepskin lined
they have been a godsend!

So in conclusion,
I LOVE UGGS

Deal With It!

🙂

What Milly Wore: Dingledodies

In ASOS, boots, cardigan, leather, lumberjack shirt, new look, river island, urban outfitters, what milly wore on January 18, 2010 at 7:54 pm
Why hello, wasn’t expecting to see you here 🙂
Today I went to the boys house, and watched the new Russell Howard DVD
called Dingledodies, hence the title!
I Wore:
Blue Swing Jacket with Jaguar Pin: River Island (sale £35 reduced from £70)
love this jacket, has no way of fastening though, I like to use a giant safety pin to keep it closed
Blue and Pink Scarf: Vintage
Skinny Jeans: ASOS (£18 in the sale) new today, size 12 petite, fit like a glove!
I find it so hard to find jeans that fit, I was amazing when these were perfect,
however I also got the same pair in a different finish, in regular not petite,
and they were FAR to tight, which I found super odd!
Purple Leather Boots: Red Or Dead @ Schuh in the Sale
Black Quilted Duffle Bag: Urban Oufitters (sale)

I also have new hair, waddaya think?
It looks way better with product in, but I couldn’t be bothered today,
quite asymmetrical and pink!

Under my coat I wore:
Pink & Turquoise Lumberjack Shirt : H&M
Snuggly Knitted Cardigan: New Look
I love this cardi, its very similar to one my nan used to wear when I was little!
I’m so glad to be back to blogging again,
I missed it loads!

Oh an the new series of ANTM starts tonight, I’m well excited!
